Accessibility to the city
Living in Streetsville provides you with extremely easy access to Toronto, whether you take public transit or drive. Right in Streetsville, there is a GO Train and Bus station that provides rides to-and-from the city, seven days a week. If you prefer driving, then you are in luck as well. Streetsville is only minutes away from the major highways – QEW, 403 and 401.
Established public schools
Streetsville is an established neighbourhood which means the public schools in the area have been around for a while and have also had the chance to establish themselves. Elementary schools in the area such as Britannia Public School, Vista Heights Public School and Dolphin Senior Public School have average grades of B or higher in English and Math.
Great dining choices
Streetsville and the surrounding area of Mississauga are know for their diversity which also means, you get a wide selection of cuisine. The Streetsville area alone is home to delightful Italian, Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, and British fare. Your dining needs are met in the village alone, whether you are craving for pad thai or a burger.
Endless shopping options
Streetsville village is home to one-of-a-kind boutique shops with an eclectic assortment of clothing and accessories to choose from. As well, Streetsville is very close to Mississauga’s two biggest shopping malls – Erin Mills Town Centre and Square One, where you’re sure to find your favourite stores. If that’s not enough shopping for you, then Toronto is only a 25 minute train ride away and there is plenty of shopping to do there from the Eaton Centre, to Queen Street to Yorkville.
Lovely piece of nature
If you appreciate nature, then you will love Streetsville Memorial Park. The park gives access to a beautiful stretch of the Culham trail running along the Credit River. Here you will find mature trees, a playground and an outdoor pool. You can walk to the Main Street Bridge to take in a nice view of the river.
